The Proffitt Brothers Foundation’s $5,000 donation to K9s for Warriors will enable an entire “Warrior Class”, consisting of 12 veterans, to embark on a transformative journey towards improved mental and emotional well-being. Empowering Warriors for a Successful 21 Days

K9s for Warriors is a trailblazing organization dedicated to providing service dogs to veterans struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), or military sexual trauma (MST). One of the crucial aspects of their program is the intensive 21-day training camp that veterans and their service dogs undergo. This camp serves as a pivotal step in the journey towards recovery and healing.

Our $5,000 donation will cover the comprehensive needs of an entire Warrior class during their stay at the K9s for Warriors campus. This includes everything necessary for a successful 21 days, ensuring that these veterans have the tools and support they require to thrive. The impact of this donation extends far beyond monetary value; it symbolizes a commitment to healing and honoring those who have served our nation.

4. Crossbody Leashes: Specially designed leashes provide practicality and comfort, allowing the veterans to maintain control during training exercises.
5. Service Dog Vests: The iconic service dog vests signify the partnership between a veteran and their service dog, fostering a sense of pride and responsibility.
6. More Essentials: The donation covers additional essentials that contribute to a comfortable and successful stay on campus, demonstrating a holistic approach to support.

Additionally, this donation helps to offset the production costs associated with running K9s for Warriors programming.
