ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Proffitt Brothers Foundation®, which is the charitable arm of Spartan Medical, today announced it will donate 150 tickets to its American Heroes Benefit on Friday, November 6th for active-duty service members and veterans. The event will be held in a heated tent on Annapolis City Dock where attendees will get to enjoy an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, live music by a 14-piece band, and dancing. The tickets can be claimed on HeroBenefit.Eventbrite.com.

“After twenty years of war in Afghanistan, we want to provide America’s warriors a weekend of patriotism and entertainment that will demonstrate to them and their families that they have a sea of support and we honor their sacrifice,” said Vince Proffitt, Founder of Proffitt Brothers Foundation®. “So, it’s only logical that we offer free tickets to active-duty service members and veterans.”

The two-day event on Annapolis City Dock includes the benefit on Friday, November 5th from 6pm to 10pm and a fall festival on Saturday, November 6th from 2pm to 10pm. Attendees of the fall festival will get to enjoy live music by three bands and DJ, tailgate games, a pet costume contest and activities for kids. The fall festival does not require tickets and is free to everyone.

Proceeds from the two-day event will go to veterans’ charitable organizations, including Annapolis-based Valhalla Sailing Project, Warrior Events, Live Water Foundation and Warrior Sailing. Other individuals and businesses can donate tickets or tables to active-duty service members and veterans by purchasing them at HeroBenefit.Eventbrite.com and the Proffitt Brothers Foundation® will ensure the tickets will be used.

“American Heroes Benefit and Festival will attract people from around the country who want to show their support for America’s warriors and their families during this difficult time for them,” added Vince Proffitt, Founder of Proffitt Brothers Foundation®. “People attending the event will also experience a weekend of fun and patriotism while raising money for great causes. It will be an event that will be talked about for years to come.”

About Proffitt Brothers Foundation®: The 501 (c) (3) Foundation, which is the charitable arm of Spartan Medical Inc., was created in July 2018 to honor the vision and mission of Gregory Proffitt, who passed far too young on 21 May 2018. The Foundation was entirely funded by Spartan Medical through June 2021, with 100% of all donations going to the causes it supports. The goal is to help fund the hardworking charities that get the proceeds directly to real people, locally, on the front-line. The mission is to find people that have demonstrated the propensity to do good, and to incentivize that incredible behavior with funding, to make the biggest possible impact in the most expedient and efficient manner possible.
